Azerbaijan has always attached great importance to protecting Islamic values, which are an integral part of our national and spiritual values and serve as a spiritual foundation and guide for billions of people around the world.
As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated in the address of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 20th session of the conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.
"We put forward various initiatives to promote Islamic principles of solidarity and mutual respect, and regularly host events of the OIC and its structures," the address of the President of Azerbaijan emphasizes.
