Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the first residential complex built in Zangilan

On May 10, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the first residential complex with 104 apartments, built in the city of Zangilan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the Special Representative of the President in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, Vahid Hajiyev, informed the head of state about the conditions created in the complex.

It should be noted that in 2022, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for this complex. The head of state reviewed the progress of the residential complex construction in 2024 and 2025.

The total area of the complex is more than 2 hectares. A total of 12 buildings have been erected here, including 4 three-story buildings (with 60 apartments) and 8 two-story townhouse-type buildings (with 44 apartments). In total, the complex has 104 apartments, of which 84 are intended for residents and 20 are for official use. The apartments consist of 2, 3, 4, and 5 rooms.

A number of works aimed at addressing the social needs of residents have been carried out in this residential complex. Children's and sports playgrounds, a bicycle path, underground and above-ground parking lots have been created on the premises. According to the General Plan of Zangilan, the residential complex is located in the central part of the city, in a multifunctional zone with medium population density, near a school, a nursery-kindergarten, and a park.
