Ilham Aliyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov viewed the shot-up monuments in Shusha

On July 17, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov viewed the monuments of prominent Azerbaijani figures - Natavan, Bulbul and Uzeyir Hajibeyli, which were shot by Armenians during the occupation.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was informed that during the occupation, Armenians took these monuments to Armenia and wanted to melt them down. Thanks to the intervention of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the monuments were bought back from Armenia, brought to Azerbaijan and stored for some time in the courtyard of the Museum of Arts in Baku. After the liberation of Shusha city from occupation, they were returned to their former places.
