President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the participants of the international scientific-practical congress dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Advanced Medical Training named after Aziz Aliyev.

"Dear participants of the congress!

I welcome you on the occasion of the start of the international scientific-practical congress dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Advanced Medical Training named after Aziz Aliyev, and wish each of you new successes in your responsible and honorable activities.

At this congress, attended by renowned scientists and specialists from prestigious medical institutions around the world, a detailed exchange of views will be conducted on various aspects of medical science and healthcare. I believe that your joint efforts aimed at discussing and solving current issues through mutual use of international practices will be fruitful.

The healthcare system in our country has entered a new stage of its development. In accordance with the objectives of state healthcare policy, medical institutions are being reconstructed to meet the most modern standards, and research that connects science and practice with the application of the latest achievements in medical technology is encouraged. The Institute of Advanced Medical Training, which skillfully handles the tasks assigned to it in this field, deserves special merit.
