Hikmet Hajiyev met with the head of the NATO Office in the South Caucasus

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev met with the Head of the NATO Office in the South Caucasus Alexander Vinnikov.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a publication on the Facebook account of the Swedish Embassy in Baku.

"This week, Alexander Vinnikov arrived in Baku to continue discussions on the further development of relations between NATO and Azerbaijan, as well as regional security issues of mutual interest. A. Vinnikov was accompanied by NATO Military Liaison Officer, Colonel Berat Telli.

During his visit, Vinnikov held productive discussions with Presidential Assistant Hikmet Hajiyev. Vinnikov also delivered a keynote address on the NATO-Azerbaijan partnership at an international conference dedicated to NATO's Defense Education Enhancement Program and its contribution to defense and security sector reform. The delegation also held useful meetings with local think tanks, ambassadors of NATO countries, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan.
