Hikmet Hajiyev: In the trade and economic sphere with China, there is a 40% growth
There are friendly and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and China.
As Oxu.Az reports with reference to APA, this was stated to journalists by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev.
According to him, these relations are built on the basis of a strategic partnership document signed during President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to China.
"Today, Azerbaijani-Chinese ties are successfully developing in all directions. Especially in the trade and economic sphere, there is a 40% growth. Contacts in the transport sector also deserve attention - the volume of Chinese cargo transportation through the territory of Azerbaijan along the Middle Corridor, of which Turkey is also a part, is increasing. And from a political point of view, Azerbaijan and China have always supported each other," added the diplomat.
