Hikmet Hajiyev: Azerbaijan's participation in financing Gaza is not envisaged

Azerbaijan as a founding state supports the goals and objectives of the "Peace Council".

This is stated in a publication by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev on social network X.

According to him, in the future Azerbaijan may consider participation in investment projects in Gaza within the framework of the "Peace Council".

"However, we would like to clarify one issue. Azerbaijan's participation in the $7 billion financial project for Gaza, which was discussed at today's meeting of the 'Peace Council', is not envisaged," the publication states.
