President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has been awarded the "Zayed Award for Human Fraternity" by the influential Sheikh Zayed Foundation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for implementing a peace strategy in the South Caucasus.

The report notes that Azerbaijan's peace strategy, which is a key actor defining the peace agenda in the South Caucasus, is becoming an example for the entire world.

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is the architect of this strategy, was awarded the "Zayed Award for Human Fraternity" from the Sheikh Zayed Foundation of the UAE.

It is emphasized that the award was presented in connection with the historic peace summit that ended the suffering of people in the South Caucasus.
