Haber Global: Ilham Aliyev congratulated Mahmoud Abbas
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the proclamation of Palestinian statehood.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Haber Global's report, in the message Ilham Aliyev, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, warmly congratulated Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian people on this significant date.
The letter states: "We will continue to provide necessary humanitarian assistance to Palestine. I believe that the friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine, built on good traditions, will continue to develop successfully in the future".
