Haber Global: Heydar Aliyev saved his country from collapse and civil war
In Istanbul, they honored the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Haber Global TV channel, the ceremony was attended by the Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva and numerous guests.
Participants of the event laid flowers at the monument to Heydar Aliyev in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul.
"Heydar Aliyev was born into a working-class family and played an important role in history. He created a strong state, saving his country from disintegration, civil war, and external intervention," the TV channel's report notes.
