Haber Global: Azerbaijan will share its successful experience with WUF13 participants

Haber Global TV channel prepared a program dedicated to the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), taking place in Baku.

As reported by BAKU.WS, in connection with the event, the channel's correspondent Murat Karataş presented a report.

He noted that more than 40,000 people from 182 countries are participating in the forum. Representatives of states from various countries, mayors, specialists in the field of urban planning, academics, and numerous representatives of international organizations are taking part in the event.

"The hosting of WUF13 in Azerbaijan is quite remarkable. The reason for this is the reconstruction work being carried out in Karabakh, which was liberated after a 30-year occupation. Azerbaijan will share its experience related to this construction process at the forum. What is this experience? Smart cities, smart villages, as well as settlements based on green energy. Azerbaijan will share all these plans with its guests," the journalist noted in his presentation.

Murat Karataş also drew attention to the fact that Turkey is participating in this forum as well. According to him, Ankara's experience in disaster management and sustainable urbanization was also presented.
