The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev gave a necessary comment regarding the main referee of the match.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the head coach of Azerbaijan's "Qarabag" Gurban Gurbanov at a press conference after the match with German "Eintracht" (Frankfurt) in the VII round of the general stage of the UEFA Champions League.

The coach of the Agdam club expressed gratitude to the head of state for the support provided.

"For my part, I also congratulate President Ilham Aliyev on the victory. I express gratitude for the support given to us. All necessary assessments of the unfair decisions by the main referee of the match, Sandro Scherer, have already been given by the President. I believe that after the words of the head of state, there is no need for additional comments. Of course, I was also irritated during the game, but later the emotions subsided," - G. Gurbanov noted.
