From combating street vending to architecture: the position of the notorious official has changed

Samir Badalov, an employee of the Executive Authority (EA) of Sumgayit who became famous during a raid against illegal street trading, has changed positions.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to iqtisadiyyat.az, the corresponding order was signed by the head of the city administration Zakir Farajov.

Thus, as a result of structural changes, the production and service sectors of the EA were eliminated. Therefore, Samir Badalov lost his position as senior consultant of this sector.

However, Zakir Farajov did not leave him without work. By order of the head of the EA, Samir Badalov was appointed senior consultant of the architectural and construction issues sector of the newly created department of socio-economic and architectural-construction issues of the EA.

As a reminder, Samir Badalov was involved in a recent scandal during a raid to suppress illegal street trading in Sumgayit. The official treated a fruit and vegetable seller rudely and illegally confiscated his goods. His actions and manner of conduct caused strong criticism on social networks and among the public.
