Former leaders of Armenia use the church in the struggle for power

Former leaders of Armenia are actively using the church in their political confrontation with the current government. Their main goal is to overthrow Nikol Pashinyan's government by all possible means.
As events of recent months show, the main driving force behind protests taking place both in Yerevan and in the regions of the country are church figures and their financial patrons.
The Armenian government, seeking to maintain control over the situation, has initiated large-scale inspections in churches throughout the country. The results of these inspections have been truly shameful.
