Former head of the Executive Authority of Sumgayit received a new position
A new chairman of the city Council of Elders has been elected in Sumgayit.
As reported by ölkə.az, the position has been taken by the former head of the Executive Authority (EA) of the city of Sumgayit, Eldar Ismayilov.
The election of the new chairman was held on June 22 as part of the Council of Elders conference.
E. Ismayilov headed the city's EA in 1991-1992. Previously, he was also a deputy of the Supreme Council and a member of the Sumgayit municipality.
According to the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on November 16, 2009, he was awarded the "Shohrat" order.
It should be noted that the former chairman Tebrik Guliyev resigned several days ago.
