In connection with the situation that has developed in the region, the State Committee for Diaspora Affairs is taking the necessary steps, acting within the framework of close and coordinated cooperation with the diplomatic missions of our country abroad and having intensified activities in this direction.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the agency, employees of the State Committee and coordinators of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis living in Arab countries maintain intensive communication with community members in various countries, and they are advised to exercise caution and comply with all security requirements.
"In order to ensure prompt exchange of information and rapid response to appeals from our compatriots, the call center "140" of the State Committee for Diaspora Affairs operates around the clock. Our compatriots living abroad can immediately contact the call center in the event of any emergency situation, or if they encounter difficulties of a legal or humanitarian nature. All incoming appeals are promptly registered, reviewed in coordination with the relevant agencies, and appropriate measures are taken.
It should be noted that the committee has also strengthened its awareness-raising efforts through diaspora organizations and continues consistent activities aimed at ensuring security and providing information. The goal is to ensure the safety of every Azerbaijani living abroad, to protect their rights and interests, to promptly launch support mechanisms when necessary, and to implement urgent measures," the statement emphasized.
