Five years have passed since the liberation of Gubadli

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the liberation of Gubadly city.

On October 25, 2020, the Azerbaijani army wrote a new history of the liberation of our lands from occupation - on this day a number of territories were liberated.

The President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev announced the joyful news on his social media account on X - four villages of Zangilan district, five villages of Jabrayil, seven villages of Gubadly districts and the city of Gubadly itself were liberated from the occupiers.

On July 31, 2023, the Head of State signed a decree on the establishment of city days for territories liberated from occupation.

According to the document, October 25 is celebrated as Gubadly City Day.
