Ex-official Ali Gasanov: Part of Ramiz Mehdiyev's life path belongs to us too

Statements by the former head of the department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov in an interview with YouTube channel TV1 about Ramiz Mehdiyev attracted public attention.

As BAKU.WS reminds, according to him, their first acquaintance with Mehdiyev took place during the parliamentary elections of 1990.

"I have known Ramiz muallim for over 30 years. Our first meeting took place in 1990 - in a very informal setting, during the parliamentary elections. In subsequent years, we repeatedly communicated by phone and by other means during the process of creating the 'Yeni Azerbaijan' party," he noted.

Ali Hasanov emphasized that Ramiz Mehdiyev is one of the outstanding state and public figures of the 20th century.

"Undoubtedly, Ramiz muallim is one of the greatest state and public figures of the 20th century. I do not call him a political figure, as he did not engage in politics independently. Rather, I would characterize Ramiz muallim not as a politician, but as a state and public figure. He possesses all the positive qualities inherent in the most famous statesmen of the world," said the ex-official.

According to him, part of Ramiz Mehdiyev's life path also belongs to his associates.

"Indeed, Ramiz muallim has traveled a worthy, honorable life path, and part of this path belongs to us, his associates as well. I wish Ramiz muallim good health and success in his further activities with the same clear mind," A. Hasanov emphasized.
