The European Parliament, positioned as a bastion of democratic values, in reality increasingly appears as an arena of corruption, fraud, hidden deals, and lobbying interests. New scandalous materials only reinforce the sense of a systemic "double standard": public rhetoric about principles coexists with behind-the-scenes influence trading.

"At the center of the latest scandal is former ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo, who, according to published data, built a network of contacts within European institutions and is essentially engaged in the commercialization of political influence - from "paid contacts" to attempts to influence decisions at the highest level of the EU. These revelations point to a much deeper problem - the erosion of the institutional independence of the European Union and the transformation of political and legal mechanisms into instruments of pressure, including in the context of Azerbaijan and the regional agenda. Against this backdrop, critical resolutions of the European Parliament appear not only as an ideological stance but also as a possible result of lobbying activity. Nevertheless, despite such attempts at influence, Azerbaijan's strategic course and the dialogue between Baku and Yerevan are shaping a more sustainable reality, where external interference proves secondary compared to regional political will," the video states.
