Estonia's Embassy Has Opened in Baku
The next round of political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan and Estonia was held in Baku.
As reported by the foreign affairs ministry, the respective delegations were headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev and his Estonian counterpart Martin Roger.
During the consultations, the current state of political ties between Azerbaijan and Estonia was reviewed, and the role of mutual visits and meetings within international platforms in the continuous development of bilateral dialogue was noted.
Satisfaction was expressed over the commencement of operations of the Estonian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The parties also discussed the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation in the economic, humanitarian, and educational spheres. In addition, an exchange of views took place on cooperation within international organizations, as well as strategic energy and transport projects being implemented on the initiative and with the active participation of Azerbaijan.
The current situation in the region, the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, as well as the progress of large-scale construction, restoration, and demining work in the territories of our country liberated from occupation were discussed.
An exchange of views also took place on other issues of the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
