Elchin Amirbeyov Discussed Issues of Peace in the South Caucasus at the Vatican

Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan Elchin Amirbayov made a working visit to the Vatican.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the account of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the Holy See on the social network X, during the visit E. Amirbayov held a series of meetings with the Secretary of State of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin, as well as with the Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the development of interstate relations and their successful cooperation in the political and humanitarian spheres, as well as the prospects for peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Special attention was paid to issues of regional security and other topics of mutual interest.
