Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey Held a Telephone Conversation

On March 5, a telephone conversation took place between Turkey's Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the conversation was initiated by the Turkish side.

It is noted that during the conversation, the parties discussed the attacks carried out by the Armed Forces of Iran using unmanned aerial vehicles from the territory of that country on the Nakhchivan International Airport and other civilian infrastructure facilities in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The ministers also exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation, the situation in the region, and security matters.
