Bodyguard of Heydar Aliyev: At any point in the world, he invariably began all his speeches with Karabakh

When Heydar Aliyev made visits to foreign countries, he was received with great respect, and his advice and recommendations were listened to attentively.

Mahir Musayev, the personal bodyguard of national leader Heydar Aliyev, shared his memories of the outstanding statesman in an interview with Baku TV.

He added that the great leader, wherever in the world he was, invariably began all his speeches with the Karabakh issue:

"He would hang up a map and explain to everyone present where Karabakh was located, where the Armenians had lived, and how they had occupied this territory."
