Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry reacted to attacks on Azerbaijanis in Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan expressed concern regarding the incident that occurred on the morning of June 27 in the city of Yekaterinburg in the Russian Federation.
The MFA statement mentions the death and injury of Azerbaijanis as a result of an operation conducted by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation at addresses where citizens of Azerbaijan reside. Additionally, 9 people were detained.
"We express deep concern about what happened. We expect the Russian side to conduct a thorough investigation without delay and hold accountable those responsible for this unacceptable violence," the statement says.
