Azerbaijani military personnel will be issued personal dog tags

Servicemembers of the Azerbaijani army are planned to be provided with personal identification tags.

As Report informs, this is stipulated by the draft amendments to the laws on military service, included in the agenda of the Milli Majlis session on May 1.

According to the draft, the tags will be issued by the state bodies where the military personnel serve, as well as by subordinate institutions.

The procedure for provision, description, and record-keeping of the tags will be determined by the authorized executive authority.
