Azerbaijan will expand cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the energy sector

Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in the energy sector will continue to expand.

Hassan Alattas, head of project development programs of Saudi Arabia, stated this in a comment to Report on the sidelines of WUF13 in Baku.

According to him, the ties between the two countries in the energy sector have a long history, and cooperation in this direction continues.

"During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Energy visited Azerbaijan, after which coordination between the parties was further strengthened. Cooperation in the energy sector holds an important place in the relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia," he noted.
