Azerbaijan sent the second batch of oil products to Armenia
Azerbaijan has sent a second batch of petroleum products to Armenia with a total volume of 2,698 tons.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, a freight train of 48 wagons was sent from Balajary station towards Böyük-Kəsik station (on the border of Azerbaijan with Georgia).
The cargo includes 1,742 tons of AI-95 gasoline and 956 tons of diesel fuel. The delivery is carried out in transit through the territory of Georgia.
Recall that the first batch of Azerbaijani petroleum products was delivered to Armenia in December 2025. It included 1,220 tons of AI-95 gasoline.
The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced in October 2025 the decision to lift restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia that were in effect during the period of RA's occupation of Azerbaijani territories. Since then, direct and transit rail transportation has been carried out in this direction.
