Azerbaijan sends a new batch of diesel fuel to Armenia
Today, the next batch of petroleum products will be shipped from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
As Report informs, 39 tank cars with 4,500 tons of diesel fuel are being dispatched from the Güzdek station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC in the direction of Beyuk Kesik station. The cargo will be delivered in transit through the territory of Georgia.
The last delivery took place on January 11 - at that time, 18 wagons with 979 tons of AI-92 grade gasoline were sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia. Earlier, on the 9th, 2,698 tons of petroleum products were delivered to Yerevan: 1,742 tons of AI-95 grade gasoline and 956 tons of diesel fuel.
It should be recalled that fuel exports to Armenia began on December 18, 2025, when 1,220 tons of AI-95 grade gasoline were delivered to the country. After the lifting of restrictions on the transit of goods from Azerbaijan to the Republic of Armenia, which had been in effect during the period of occupation, shipments continue based on the decision of President Ilham Aliyev, adopted in October 2025.
