Appeal of President Ilham Aliyev to neighboring countries: show responsibility, work on the normalization of relations

President Ilham Aliyev, speaking at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum, touched upon the topic of the conflict in the region (Iran–USA – editor's note) and addressed a call to neighboring countries.

As reported by AZERTAC, the head of state said on this matter: "I call on our neighbors from here to show responsibility, to put an end to this situation as soon as possible and to work on the normalization of relations. This process must not escalate into a global conflict. This poses a very great danger."

President Ilham Aliyev also expressed hope that this confrontation would be resolved through the mediation of our friends from Pakistan.
