Anar Guliyev: On the first day of WUF13, the number of participants exceeded 21 thousand people

In Baku on May 17 - the first day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) - the number of participants was 21,108.

As Report informs, this was stated by the Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev at a press conference dedicated to the opening ceremony of WUF13 in Baku.

According to him, this forum truly has a global scale: "As of May 17, the total number of registered participants reached 42,367 from 182 countries. The forum is also enriched by the dynamic Urban Expo exhibition, which brings together national governments, city administrations, international organizations, academia, innovators, and private sector leaders to showcase practical solutions and partnerships. The Urban Expo statistics reflect great interest in the forum. The total exhibition area is approximately 35,000 square meters, of which about half is exhibition space. A total of 260 participating organizations from 85 countries are represented at 122 stands and pavilions."
