ANAMA and ARMAC Discussed Cooperation Prospects in the Field of Humanitarian Demining

Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov met with a delegation headed by Executive Director of the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) Rothna Butt.

This was reported by the Agency.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between ANAMA and ARMAC in the field of humanitarian demining, the importance of mutual exchange of experience, and opportunities for expanding international cooperation in the field of mine action were discussed.

At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest in the field of humanitarian demining.

Earlier, a meeting was also held between ANAMA Deputy Chairman of the Board Samir Poladov and a delegation headed by the Head of NATO's Arms Control, Disarmament and Weapons of Mass Destruction Non-Proliferation Section Eirini Lemos-Maniati.
