Ambassador of Ukraine: I express special gratitude to Azerbaijan

Ukraine expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for the support provided.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Yurii Husiev at the event "Restoring Homes and Futures: Urban Revival in Kharkiv," held within the framework of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

Despite the fact that his country is suffering from the conflict, the diplomat noted, restoration and reconstruction work is currently underway there.

"Today we are discussing the issue of recovery in wartime conditions, Ukraine will be reborn. This will happen thanks to the courage of the people. For example, Kharkiv. That is exactly why it is a hero city. Today we need even greater support for the recovery of Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine, in order to build more effective infrastructure, develop it faster, more productively, and in the right direction. Therefore, we need additional assistance. I express special gratitude to Azerbaijan for the support provided. We know that we are not alone," the ambassador said.
