Air-tactical exercises TurAz Qartalı - 2026 have started in Azerbaijan

As part of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the joint flight-tactical exercises TurAz Qartalı - 2026 have started in our country.

This was reported by the Media and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense.

First, in the briefing hall, a moment of silence was observed in memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland. Then the national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey were played.

A video prepared for the exercises was shown to the participants.

This was followed by a briefing on administrative information and upcoming tasks.

It should be noted that the exercises are conducted with the aim of exchanging experience in the planning and execution of joint air operations, enhancing the professionalism of personnel, and strengthening coordination.
