Aigun Aliyeva: Hosting WUF13 after COP29 is a result of trust in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is hosting the World Urban Forum (WUF13) following the COP29 climate conference, which is a testament to the high level of international trust in the country.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Aygun Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Board of the Agency for State Support of NGOs, at a roundtable held as part of WUF13 in Baku.

"It is no coincidence that Azerbaijan is hosting this forum. Its organization after COP29 is the result of the trust placed in the country. Our country is carrying out post-conflict reconstruction. Modern ecosystems are being created. But reconstruction is not just about infrastructure; it is also about restoring people's hope for the future. And the role of communities here is enormous," Aliyeva emphasized.
