A meeting of President Ilham Aliyev with the WHO Director-General took place in Davos
On January 19, a meeting took place in Davos between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
As reported by AZERTAG, during the conversation, previous meetings between the head of our state and Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus were noted with satisfaction.
The successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Health Organization was emphasized, and the support of our country for projects implemented by the organization in various regions of the world was noted. In this context, Azerbaijan's voluntary financial assistance to a number of countries during the COVID-19 pandemic was particularly emphasized.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Health Organization.
