On February 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held an expanded meeting with Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali.

As reported by BAKU.WS, subsequently, with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Gedion Timotheos signed the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on Cooperation in the Defense Sphere" and the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Organizing the Thirty-Second Session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP32)."

It should be noted that within the framework of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia's visit to our country, the following documents were signed: the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia," the "Memorandum of Understanding between the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Ethiopia," the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ethiopian Investment Commission," and the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint-Stock Company and the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation."
