A freight train carrying Russian grain for Armenia departed from Baku
Today, a freight train consisting of five cars carrying Russian grain in transit through the territory of Azerbaijan to Armenia departed from Baladzhary station, owned by the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
As Report informs, the total weight of the transported grain amounts to 349 tons.
The train will further proceed through the Beyuk-Kesik railway station to the territory of Georgia, from where it will continue in the direction of Armenia.
To date, 23,500 tons of grain crops, over 1,000 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of buckwheat have been delivered from the Russian Federation to Armenia through the transit corridor via Azerbaijan.
It is worth recalling that the previous transit shipment took place on March 25, when 350 tons of wheat from Russia were transported through the territory of Azerbaijan to Armenia.
