Azerbaijan is represented at the XI Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations
The XI Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) has begun its work in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As BAKU.WS was informed by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the forum on the topic "UNAOC: two decades of dialogue for humanity - the beginning of a new era of mutual respect and understanding in a multipolar world" is attended by heads of states and governments, leaders of international and regional organizations, religious leaders, as well as representatives of the private sector, youth, arts, sports, academia and the media.
An Azerbaijani delegation headed by Minister of Culture Adil Karimli is participating in the event.
The sessions of the two-day forum will discuss topics such as "Responsible leadership in a multipolar world: promoting multilateralism through inclusive dialogue," "Faith in humanity: interreligious dialogue as a bridge to peace and united humanity," "From digital realities to the real world: combating deepfakes, AI-driven disinformation, and hatred amplified by new algorithms," "Protecting human dignity and promoting a sense of identity: rethinking migration stories and cities as inclusive spaces for all," and others.
The forum will also organize a high-level meeting of the UNAOC Group of Friends and the UNAOC Youth Forum.
