Magnetic storms on November 19: will there be an impact today
No magnetic storms are forecasted for November 19.
As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by the British Geological Survey.
According to specialists, the solar wind speed remains slightly elevated, but is gradually decreasing due to the weakening influence of the previous coronal hole. At present, no new coronal mass ejections directed toward Earth have been detected.
It is expected that the geomagnetic situation will be generally calm over the next few days, although brief active periods associated with the residual effects of the coronal hole are possible.
Additionally, on November 21, an episode of increased activity due to the arrival of a high-speed stream from a small coronal hole cannot be ruled out.
