# Leaders of the USA and China discussed the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the situation around Iran
US President Donald Trump announced that during a telephone conversation he discussed the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the situation around Iran with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The head of the White House wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.
"I just had a wonderful telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping," Trump stated. "It was a long and detailed conversation during which many important topics were touched upon, including trade, military issues, my trip to China in April (which I am looking forward to), Taiwan, the war between Russia and Ukraine, the current situation around Iran, China's purchase of oil and gas from the US, China's consideration of the possibility of importing additional agricultural products, including increasing the volume of soybean purchases to 20 million tons in the current season (they have committed to purchase 25 million tons in the next season), supplies of aircraft engines and many other topics. All of them were very positive."
As China Central Television previously reported, during the telephone conversation Xi Jinping called on Donald Trump to maintain peaceful coexistence between the two countries and to approach the issue of US arms supplies to Taiwan with caution.
