Ksenia Sobchak condemned the killings of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg
Journalist Ksenia Sobchak commented on the growing tensions between Azerbaijan and Russia after the killing of two Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg.
In her Telegram channel, the journalist wrote:
"Currently, Azerbaijani media are publishing autopsy footage showing that the men literally have no uninjured area on their bodies. I remind you, even if a person is a suspect (their guilt still needs to be proven!), this is not a license for torture. It doesn't matter what nationality they are, what citizenship they have, or what they are suspected of."
According to Sobchak, the actions of certain law enforcement officers have led to an international scandal. "And then we'll be surprised why they don't like us 'there,' don't wait for us, and why we get detained. It's all because someone believed too strongly in their impunity," she wrote.
