Will objects be demolished during the construction of the tunnel connecting two metro stations in Baku?

As part of the separation of the "red" and "green" lines, Baku Metro CJSC will build a tunnel approximately 200 m long between the "Jafar Jabbarli" and "Nizami" stations this year.

A question arises: does the construction of this tunnel involve the demolition or relocation of any buildings?

In response to Oxu.Az's inquiry, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, the press secretary of Baku Metro CJSC, said that there are no objects, buildings, or structures that fall within the plan and are subject to demolition for the construction of this tunnel.

We remind you that the construction of the approximately 200 m long tunnel, which will connect the "Jafar Jabbarli" - "Nizami" stations, is planned to begin in the last quarter of the year.
