In Azerbaijan, more than 20 thousand manats were stolen from citizens' bank cards in a single day

On April 25, over 20,000 manats were stolen from bank cards of Azerbaijani citizens.
As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the crimes were committed using various cyber mechanisms.
The perpetrators withdrew amounts ranging from 9 to 6 thousand manats from citizens' bank cards.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that CVV/CVC codes, OTP passwords, login credentials and system access passwords, as well as PIN codes are confidential information. Sharing this data with unauthorized individuals can lead to theft of funds, including in the form of obtaining loans on behalf of the victim.
Citizens are urged to be extremely cautious when receiving suspicious calls and not to fall for offers of "profitable earnings," insurance, visa services, or "enhanced security" of bank accounts.
