How to receive a benefit of 2600 manats and what is needed for this?

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the introduction of a one-time allowance of 2,600 manats for children who have lost their parents and are deprived of their guardianship, as well as for individuals from this category. These payments will be provided after completing education at school, vocational school, college, or university.

As reported by Vugar Bayramov, a member of the Milli Mejlis committee on economic policy, industry, and entrepreneurship, the new allowance will be allocated from the state budget after completing each level of education.

Previously, state support for such citizens was limited to seasonal clothing, footwear, and a payment equal to two average salaries in the country. Now, not only has the amount of the allowance increased, but the rules for receiving it have also been clarified.

To apply for the payment, it is necessary to contact the State Social Protection Fund, a DOST center, or the Unified Coordination Center for support of families of martyrs, wounded servicemen, and persons with disabilities.

When submitting an application, you need to provide:

• identity card,

• birth certificate,

• document confirming parents' death (or certificate stating they are unknown),

• diploma or certificate of graduation from an educational institution, etc.

The introduction of this allowance is aimed at strengthening social protection for orphaned children and graduates from this category, providing them with a more confident start in adult life.
