Demolition of buildings begins in Baku: compensation does not satisfy residents

Demolition of old buildings has begun in some areas of Baku.

BAKU.WS, with reference to İTV, reports that in the area known as "20th section," on Chernyakhovsky Street, some residents have already been relocated.

However, not everyone agrees with the proposed compensation.

According to the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, there are plans to demolish existing houses and improve the territory. Compensation has already been paid for 34 apartments located at the specified addresses.

The relocation of residents has been provided for.

It is also planned to conclude notarial agreements and make payments to citizens living in other areas.
