Yuri Gusev: We are counting on Azerbaijan's participation in the conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine
The Ukrainian side expects Azerbaijan's participation at a high level in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held on June 25-26 in the Polish city of Gdańsk.
This was stated in an interview with Report by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Yurii Husev on the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
"We are optimistic. We expect Azerbaijan to participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which this year will be held in June in Gdańsk, Poland," the diplomat said.
He also recalled that Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had participated in several previous Ukraine recovery conferences. "We expect Azerbaijan to be represented at a high level this year as well," he noted.
The ambassador also reported that the parties continue discussions on holding the next session of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
"We continue our dialogue with our Azerbaijani friends and partners regarding holding the IGC session this year. We are discussing the dates and agenda of this meeting. We expect that by the end of this year we will be able to hold this session as productively as the previous one, which took place in 2025 in Baku," Husev emphasized.
