The visit of the Chief of the General Staff to Belarus continues

The delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Veliyev, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, visited a number of military facilities.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani delegation visited an air base of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, as well as a separate air assault brigade, where they familiarized themselves with samples of military and special equipment in service with special operations forces and electronic warfare units.

In accordance with the plan, Colonel General K. Veliyev visited a center for training and deployment of unmanned aerial vehicle systems, as well as an enterprise of the state military-industrial complex.

After familiarizing themselves with the center's activities, the guests were provided with information on the training of operators of unmanned aerial vehicle systems and the principles of working with simulators.

As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation also visited the bust of Hero of the Soviet Union Najafgulu Rafiyev in Minsk, laid flowers at it, and paid tribute to his memory.
