The recalled ambassador of Azerbaijan to Bulgaria is the spouse of Leyla Abdullayeva

Today, by order of President Ilham Aliyev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Bulgaria, Huseyn Huseynov, was recalled from his position.
As Oxu.az reports, the diplomat is the husband of Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France, Leyla Abdullayeva.
It should be noted that Huseyn Huseynov graduated from the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science in 1998 with a specialization in "International Relations." In 2000, he completed his master's degree with honors from the "Political Management" faculty of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and from 2000-2003, he pursued postgraduate studies at the same academy.
Since April 2021, he had been serving as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Bulgaria.
Recall that Leyla Abdullayeva, who held the position of Head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan from 2018 to 2022, was appointed as Azerbaijan's Ambassador to France on October 17, 2022, by order of President Ilham Aliyev.
