The Presidents of Azerbaijan and the UAE viewed the monuments of Natavan, Bulbul and Uzeyir Hajibeyli in Shusha

On September 16, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan examined in Shusha the monuments to famous Azerbaijani personalities - Natavan, Bulbul, and Uzeyir Hajibeyli - that were shot by Armenian occupiers.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the President of the United Arab Emirates was informed that during the occupation period, Armenians wanted to take these sculptures to Armenia and melt them down. Thanks to the intervention of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the sculptures were purchased from Armenia and delivered to our country. The sculptures, which were kept for some time in Baku in the courtyard of the Museum of Arts, were returned to their original location after the liberation of Shusha city from occupation.
