The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated the President of Singapore

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I am pleased to cordially congratulate you and through you all your people on the 60th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Singapore.

During the past period, Singapore has come a long way, transforming into a rapidly and dynamically developing state of the world, achieving significant successes in the fields of economy, industry, science, modern technologies and other areas.

I believe that we will continue to consistently pursue joint efforts towards developing Azerbaijani-Singaporean friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation.
